Ms. Monroe is an associate in the firm.  Ms. Monroe has been with the firm since 2001.  She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude, from Bowdoin College, her Juris Doctor Degree, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and her Master of Laws in Taxation  Degree from the New York University School of Law.  Ms. Monroe was a member of the Order of Wig and Robe and Research Editor of the ABA Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal at the University of South Carolina School of Law.  She received the Arthur B. Custy Tax Award and the American Jurisprudence Award in the areas of Mergers and Acquisitions and Business Crimes while at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
